Discover the wonders of South Sardinia!

  • Chia

Chia has some of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia. The crystal clear water often changes turquoise; the fine sand and the green juniper bushes in the dunes make holiday goers swoon.

The beaches in this area are all breathtaking and known for their fine sand and clean, turquoise sea, which is suitable for children due to its shallow waters. But sports enthusiasts are also in the right place here: There is a wide range of water sports on offer, from diving to stand-up paddling and kite surfing. Windsurfers appreciate the fresh coastal breeze.

  • Cagliari

Cagliari is the capital of Sardinia and is located in the south of the island, directly on the sea. While the city itself has about 150,000 inhabitants, the larger area of Cagliari has about 450,000 inhabitants. Shopping, going out, enjoying the atmosphere of the city, sports, culture, exciting beach life or excursions in the surroundings - Cagliari is exactly the right place for all of the above.

While mass tourism has taken hold in many coastal cities of Italy, here you will find above all Sardinian originality. Cagliari and its historic centre can be explored on foot in a day.

  • Is Molas

The village of Is Molas, 43 km from Cagliari airport, offers a magnificent view of the blue sea, the tower of Nora and the beautiful unspoilt nature. The beautiful beaches of Chia and the lively town of Pula are only a few minutes' drive away - as is Nora, where you can visit a large archaeological site dating back to Roman times, taking you back to a distant past. The picturesque amphitheatre, located directly by the sea, hosts renowned cultural events during the summer season, such as the Nora Jazz Festival and La notte dei Poeti (The Night of the Poets).

  • Pula

If you want to enjoy the sea all year round - in summer for swimming and sunbathing - in autumn and winter for the poetic atmosphere - Pula is the ideal holiday destination. The city of more than seven thousand inhabitants is located 35 km from the capital Cagliari and offers archaeological, natural and artistic treasures that have no equal on the island. Apart from the summer nightlife with events and aperitifs in the squares, there are also opportunities for excursions and numerous sporting activities. The municipality of Pula also includes the small town of Santa Margherita di Pula, known for its long, sandy beach.
